Ricardo Dar�n is an Argentine actor, screenwriter and film director. Dar�n is one of the biggest movie stars in Argentina. He played a number of parts in TV series for several years where he became popular as a young leading actor. His most prominent roles as a film actor include Nine Queens, El Hijo de la Novia, Luna de Avellaneda, El Aura and La Se�al, which was also his directorial debut. He starred in the Academy Award winning film The Secret in Their Eyes. In 2011 Konex Foundation from Argentina granted him the Diamond Konex Award, one of the most prestigious awards in Argentina, as the most important personality in Entertainment in the last decade in his country.
