Francis Pierre Horton Perrin is a French actor, scriptwriter and film director. He was taken on by the Com�die-Fran�aise in 1972, for whom his roles included Les Fourberies de Scapin by Moli�re. He headed the Th��tre Montansier in his birthplace from 1992 to 2000. In April 2007, he was made an Officier de la L�gion d'honneur. Francis Perrin is not to be confused with the recurring character of Francis Veber, Fran�ois Perrin / Fran�ois Pignon. Francis Perrin co-wrote Le D�butant as well as playing Fran�ois Veber in it, and also played the role of Fran�ois P�pin in �a n'arrive qu'� moi.
