Esko Olavi Sepp�nen is a Finnish politician representing Left Alliance. He is a former Member of the European Parliament and Finnish parliament. In the European parliament Sepp�nen was Member of the Bureau of the European United Left - Nordic Green Left and sat on the European Parliament's Committee on Budgets. He also was a substitute for the Committee on Budgetary Control and the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy. Before founding of the Left Alliance in 1990 Sepp�nen represented the Finnish People's Democratic League and he was a member of the Communist Party of Finland. Sepp�nen has a Bachelor's degree in business studies. He worked as journalist at Yleisradio in 1970?1987.
