Patrick Chuba Omameh, Jr. is an American football player who currently plays for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. His parents, Phyllis and Patrick, Sr., immigrated to Columbus from Nigeria in the early 1980s. During his college football career, he was an offensive lineman who mostly played guard. He enrolled at the University of Michigan in 2008 and redshirted his freshman season. He began his Michigan Wolverines football career as the lowest rated football player in the entering class of 2008 and finished it as a 2012 first team All-Big Ten selection. He was not only recognized for his role with the 2012 Michigan Wolverines, but also for his off-the-field contributions to his community as both a 2012 Pop Warner National College Football Award finalist and a 2012 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team member. He was also a three-time Academic All-Big Ten selection.
