Jean Luc Herbulot is a film director and screenwriter. Herbulot started drawing and writing stories at an early age. Creation was the main way for him to get any enjoyment out of school. His activities included writing, drawing, composing music, working on video game and graphic design. In 2000 he moved to Paris. Herbulot showed an interest in new technologies and graphic arts such as manga, comics, animation, computer graphics and web design. In 2001 while studying editing in part of his multimedia studies, he directed a first short-movie called Vierge for which he also did the scriptwriting, story board, lighting, editing and DVD release. Despite the amateur quality and the fact that it was his first step in movie making, this project was quite successful in Festival and on Internet. He graduated as a multimedia project manager and started to work for TF1 as a graphic designer, meanwhile, he created his own production company, DigitalDiesel. DigitalDiesel made music videos for independent artists with very low budgets. Herbulot?s work on his music videos was noticed and benefits from wide broadcasting on different music channels.
