Description
Denise Lynn Nappier is an American who serves as the current Connecticut State Treasurer, serving since 1999. A member of the Democratic Party, she was first elected in 1998 and was re-elected in 2002, 2006, and 2010. She is the first African-American woman elected to statewide office in the history of Connecticut.
