Virginio C�ceres Villalba is a retired football defender from Paraguay. C�ceres started his career in the regional league team from the San Pedro Department and arrived in Asunci�n at the start of 1984 and signed for Club Guaran�. He soon made an impact and helped the team capture the 1984 Paraguayan league title. In 1990 he signed for Olimpia Asunci�n, where he would eventually play until his retirement in 2002. In his at Olimpia he won several national and international titles that established him as one of the club's important players. Virginio C�ceres was also of the Paraguay national football team that participated in the 1986 FIFA World Cup.
