Charmian May was an English actress who appeared in The Good Life, Keeping Up Appearances and Bridget Jones's Diary. She also appeared in The Worst Witch as Miss Pentangle, in Weirdsister College as Prof. Alicia Thunderblast, and she was Miss Milton in the Yorkshire Television series, You're Only Young Twice. Among her many roles in a career of nearly thirty years were: Miss Milton in four series of You're Only Young Twice Celia Brabazon in The Dawning Mrs Weaver in two episodes of The Good Life Mrs Councillor Nugent in three episodes of Keeping Up Appearances Mrs Darcy in Bridget Jones's Diary She died in Purbrook, Hampshire on 24 October 2002 aged 65.
